Somethings are still easier to do free hand than on the computer

Not necessarily better, though. Those who know me know that I am challenged in knowledge of geography and/or space. In my family I am known for saying things like, " I'd like to go to California or New York, somewhere around there." I am also well know for an incident in which I got lost in parking garage. Now don't cut me any slack. You may think that you've seen some pretty confusing parking garages, but this one was two stories high. The attendant eventually noticed that a bright, green Volkswagen bug kept driving around and came over to help me out.
That being said, I have drawn (free hand) a very rough sketch to illustrate our life in the past little while. Perhaps then it will shed some light on the lack of blog entries. I will try to be somewhat brief.

In May, Justin was offered a new job. He is still working for Kaplan, but got a different job. The job was a regional marketing director position, which meant that we could live anywhere within the region that he would be working in. The area includes Minnesota, Nebraska, Iowa, and Kansas. We know nothing of these states and quite honestly our thoughts were that we would rather live anywhere else in the US. But Justin accepted the job. So began our summer sojourn. We moved out of our house in Dallas, and drove to Boise, ID. At which point we left the next day to go to a family reunion in Washington state. From there we went back to Boise, where Justin's parents live to stay for awhile because we still had not decided where to move. We went to Bear Lake in Utah to visit my parents who were on their summer vacation. Then back to Boise. Finally we took a trip to the midwest to shop for a town to live in. We went several locations but decided on Lawrence, KS. The University of Kansas is here and it has about 80,000 residents. The rolling hills are lush and the people have been great.

From there we went back to Boise to spend the rest of the summer. Later on I got word that my grandmother had a stroke and I would be needing to go to Indianapolis for a funeral two days before our move date. So the whole family came out to Des Moines, where Justin's sister Heather lives. She took our kids while Justin went on a business tri[ and I went to Indiana. Then back to Des Moines to gather my children and finally drive to our new house in Kansas. Whew. Bored? Oh, I forgot to mention that our dog Wombat accompanied us on the whole excursion.

We went to the Reorganized Church's temple. Eden was so sad that our church did not own this building but instead the drab one next door.

Jude broke his arm in the middle of all of this.

He is such a sweet boy at times. Just yesterday he told me, " Mommy every time I smell you, you smell beautiful."
